3. The office is aggressively pushing parents to rate/review the dentistry by making some sort of a mandate (for lack of better word) to have an email address in the forms which is why this place has 70+ positive reviews and not a single honest / questionable review vs other pediatric that have 5-10 reviews.
My 2 1/2 year old son was SO at ease during his appointment with Dr. Fong. He was really great with my son and went through the process prior to initiating the checkup.
Dentist seems like a nice motivated young guy and the office looks like a big entertainment zone for the kids. The staff is just as you would expect from any other pediatric dentistry to be satisfactory.
We had an excellent experience at Lil pearls taking all three of our little ones and receiving understanding child sensitive care. The ceiling TV was a huge hit.
A very kids friendly place. The doctor and nurses are very patient and love kids. My daughter was very relieved, when getting teeth cleaned and checked.
2. When calling for the first time and within a few minutes of talking one can feel a bit cornered into the preplanned limits set out by the dentist to see your child. Any hope/luck/chance of a dentist seeing your kid within the same day or in a few days is essentially not existent and not an option via the phone.
1. Office hours only operational after 1pm/2pm and closed on some days of the week where as times/date are a convenience to the dentist not the patient. Thats why their office is ALWAYS FULLY BOOKED AND THE NEXT APPOINTMENT DATE IS, YOU GUESSED IT - NEXT MONTH...
Here comes the Bad:
My two boys are running to the dentist appointment, they're loving the place , Doctor, and all the assistants that works their. My little one had bad experience with the previous dentist, but this place when he came for the first time he was relaxed and very confident. I am very happy that my kids love this dentist.
But, despite the look and feel of the office and the dentist who might be inexperienced in the field, I still urge parents/patients to get a second opinion with another pediatric dentist and not settle in on whatever the dentist says when it comes to the procedures he sets out to do.
I felt he was very informative and it wasn't a rushed appointment. I can tell Dr. Fong really cares about his patients and made me, as a mother, feel comfortable and confident with entrusting my son's teeth under his care.
