The hotel staff were very polite to me and my family. Everyone from the front reception desk, valet services and housekeeping went above and beyond with customer service. I highly recommend this hotel in a city of N.Y. known for rudeness.
Nice hotel and clean. The bartenders are great people that remember you. Look for Abdool, he’s the best.
As long-time Marriott clients, I think this was a reasonably good Courtyard location. When we went to check in there wasn't any room for cars in the lot. We needed a number of spaces because we were a large party in town for a funeral and had just come from a 6hr wake. To be fair, the gentleman who helped us was more than accommodating, freeing up 2 spaces in the lot and actually giving his and coworker's own spots on the street via valet service. That was incredible and because that, our stay was better than it might have been. It was a little noisy between street traffic and the fact that our room was next to a service closet which was accessed all night. The bed was softer than we expected but wasn't terrible. The shower was oddly set up because it only had a glass door that only covered half of the tub and opened only partially, which cause some water to splash outside of the shower. That said, the room was nice and clean and had well-designed closet space. I'll give it 3.5 stars.
My husband and I have been traveling ALLL day and were welcomed so well by the Free Shuttle Driver (the one and only George Dallas) and our receptionist Arlenys. Grateful for a comfortable room and a friendly place to stay close to JFK.
Great hotel and service. Not really anything in the area you can walk to. Hotel does have bar and food service in the lobby. Shuttle service to JFK.
