DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS!! I can't believe that this place doesn't get closed down or cited for their inhumane care of the animals in the back. Upon entering, the smell is enough to make you want to throw up. Beyond Filth. The puppies look either lethargic or stressed. Some are barking in a disturbing manner. Pitiful. The cages are clearly dirty and very small. Unacceptable. WHY? WHY? There were two men in there who looked as though they could care less about their business. One of them looked like he belonged in an assisted living facility. The other was a total creep. I told him that he should be closed down and his store was a disgrace. -0 for these jerk-offs.
If I could 0 stars I would extremely terrible place. Birds are over crowded inside is over crowded looks like a walk in closet on the inside. Dogs are sitting in their own feces and owner doesn't care and the smell is terrible. Those animals look so scared and they need to get out.
I'm a child who loves pets, especially dogs, and I seriously LOATHE this place!!!Although I'm allergic to dogs (if I stay with them for a long time), I came here just to see the dogs, and the owner (Steve) literally tries to kick me out because I don't buy anything!!!
Anyone giving this a poor rating is clueless. The management of this shop care deeply about animals and has done rescues and assisted in rescues. It's no longer legal in New York City to sell cats in pet stores so anyone complaining needs to take it to the mayor. The animals here are well cared for and adopted out quickly to good homes. The people who work there trip over themselves to help people and will order what you need and give advice. If you want some glitzy boutique there are plenty. If you genuinely care about animals you will give your business to this shop and maybe talk to the people there and learn before bashing the business online.
I will give this 0 star. They mostly like coming from Puppymill if you see puppies or kitties in pet store. Always adopt or rescue. I heard rumor from my friend this employee splash water bucket onto person protesting.
Then a couple of days later, I went to see how much a Pomeranian costs, and before I could even say anything, he said I couldn't come in. In my mind, I was like "Excuse me? I Can come in here whether YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!!" But I still asked him and that was that. Then I came Running out of the store, and I first told my mom about how that guy was a HYPOCRITE and such a disgrace!!! The only reason why I give this place 2 stars instead of 1 star is because of all the Puppies and Junior, one of the workers that's very nice to me, and let's me see all the puppies. The prices are affordable, and as far as I see, those are the only 3 good things about this place.
