It has three subway lines, bus terminal, MTA Long island rail lines and air train to JFK.
I've been going here for 20+years and they have never let me down.
J trains in both directions are unpardonably late and often filthy. E trains are way more reliable. At street level, the LIRR is dandy. Also, the immediate area boasts fish markets and fresh produce of top quality and low cost. Check out the great pawn shops. Lest I forget, the JFK Airtrain terminal is accessed at top level of LIRR tracks.
Big transportation hub with quick transfer to different directions.
It's close to home.and has access to jfk.and long iland rail road.e and f train is also available there .very convenient
Do not need to walk long from one transportation to another, great organization.
