This market has a good variety of oriental goods if that's what one is looking for, and the lines aren't too long of a wait.
Always has good sales on fresh meats and vegetables, comfortable setting easily to get around.
This place is crowded and they don't really have a parking lot per se. They use the parking lot of the nearby bank when the bank is closed. Since the renovations this market has been running a number of sales and food is priced aggressively. Appears that produce turnaround is quick, so generally the produce is fresh but as usual buyer beware.
Overall, not a bad market. However, as of September 23, 2017 there's still a lot of construction going on. The basement used to feature a tiny anime/Pokemon card/ baseball card shop and a bookstore that had a small selection of zone free DVD players. That is now all gone. The produce department always has good quality produce. However, the meat and fish departments still seem a little shady. Check everything for expiration dates. Buyer beware.
