9/6/17 Food is good but the AC was barely on when a lot of their specialties are spicy dishes, can't even spare a small cup of free water for customers, c'mon now. I understand it's in a predominantly immigrant neighborhood but the decor and music is most definitely westernized and the prices are definitely higher than the surrounding mom-n-pop food shops all around the area, no water? You sort of expect this kind of experience when you step in to the shops nearby but this place clearly presents itself to be more than that, oh so disappointing.
The place is newly renovated and is very clean. It looks modern inside.
I absolutely loved the Xi'an famous foods in East village, but this one was lame. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious and the tea was good, but when we asked for tap water, we were told they don't give out water and that we'd have to buy the bottled water. Pretty sure it's illegal to do that. After this even the food tasted low-effort like the people that work here.
Go to a different Xi'an location.
Seriously the best hand made Xian style biang noodles anywhere in the states. Unless, your uncle knows how to pull some amazing noodles at home.
This place is terrible very dirty place in a basement and everytime I ate here always came out with diarrhea very bad place to go to. last time i got the lamb burger here it tasted like throw up
