There is some very tasty Chinese food at great prices in the lower level food court which is only accessible from the outside.
This is a small place in the basement that have little Asian shops run by moms and pops. It’s a great place to grab food on the go or some might have stalls set up if you want to sit and eat. My go to places are Xi’an, LAN Zhou pulled noodles and TianJin dumpling.
Many have said the food is good but I don't think so. It is just average but cheap.
It is like a 3rd world country mall.
What a shock this place was! I finally paid homage to one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) food-centric "malls" of Flushing. I expected one of those new, if sterile-looking, shopping/eating complexes like the New World. Boy, was I wrong. It's old, grimy, and 100% authentic, if not for the occasional group of hipsters sitting, and clueless as to what to order at the counter. Highly, highly recommended if you are an adventurous eater. You will be rewarded.
If you are adventurous or training for the 3rd world country vacation this is a good training ground.
I'm not comfortable being in the basement. It is crowded and not clean to my standard. The food stalls are mostly for locals.
