The ties were mediocre and cost $30 a piece on sale.
Best shopping mall in queens. Queens center mall is huge and had a parking lot. Recognized brands from clothing to nutrition can be found here. A variety of food is also available in the lower level and throughout the mall as well. On the weekends it gets crowded especially the food court but that can't stop you to have a great time on this wonderful mall.
Over crowded always. Paying for parking no bueno. Find parking outside good luck. Traffic in the area insane. I will stick to hanging in Long island.
This mall has gone through some much needed renovations and the store options are expanding as well. My daughter and I like coming to this mall to do some back to school shopping and to eat at some of the cool restaurants. I know we've been to Olive Garden which was ok. But I believe there's a Cheese Cake Factory at this location or maybe I'm getting this mall confused with Newport in Jersey City which definitely has a Cheese Cake Factory! Nonetheless, this mall gets super packed on the weekends with many families treating their children to the movies, good food/deserts, or shopping. Definitely worth the trip. Lastly, there are some really cool stores and an array of restaurants, furniture stores along Queens Blvd.
The machine that lets you pay for parking was broken-- all of them! No one could leave the parking lot! I'm claustrophobic man, that can't be legal.
The Mall is huge, tons of stores. Great food court. Cheese Cake Factory on the premises.
On my way out of the mall a guy that looked like he was from another time (70's-80's) started waving me into this store. All they had in there was unbranded suits shirts and ties. I picked up a shirt for the same price it would cost to dry clean one! Then the guy saw me looking at ties ( he was an excellent salesman) and told me 3 for $10! Wow! I picked up three flower ties and was very happy! Then he sold me socks too! Cool ones. 3 for $10 again (I will say he seemed to feel some kind of way about my choice of the more feminine designs, and I'm like, you're the one selling these things guy)
I went to three weddings in the couple of weeks since then, and I received 14 compliments on the tie I wore from this place. Before that I had received maybe 5 tie compliments in my life. The point is, if you have a wedding to go to, GO TO THIS OFF-BRAND SUIT STORE (I think it's called QUAILS, but not sure)
It's not your wedding, and I mean, you're already giving these people $200--- no one really cares about how you look--it's about the Bride. Just have confidence in yourself and rock a dirt cheap tie.
probably the center of the borough of queens, and always a busy area to stroll around. or shop at, it is simply one of the best places to visit in queens and worth it to take a look around the stores. although it would not be the cheapest its definitely where you will find the most trusted products and stores nationwide. with the likes of apple, Microsoft, and a huge food court. you could come here everyday and experience something new .
That being said, I went into Macy's to get suit pants and a tie for a wedding. (I had run out of pants and borrowed them from my dry cleaned suit and then lost them--big mistake)
