I bought furniture at Furniture Expo which included china, chair and sofa back in December 2016, however recently the door of the china fall off that's when I saw how the team from furniture store put it together. I didn't check how they put together the rest of the funiture but I will hope they did it right. Recently I went to the store cause under the one year warranty I still have a right to request for the services if anything happens, so I went there and spoke to Semen yesterday I found out that he is the owner of the store he said that he will introduce me to Kostiy who originally sold furniture to me back in December 2016. He took all my info for furniture team to come and fix the china door. Kostiy advised me that the team usually scheduled in Queens area on Mondays and Wednesdays. So we agreed that somebody will be home on Monday. Of course Monday nobody showed up, I waited until Wednesday same week nobody showed up then I called and spoke to Kostiy who did took all info but over the phone he sounded that he didn't have any of my info at all, then he took it again and said that he will contact the company and find out what happened. Called me back in couple minute stating that the guys are around the area and will show up soon of course nobody showed up..... and yesterday over the phone instead of fixing the problem he was very rude to the customer who spent at that store almost $3K plus tips, nasty and very unprofessional. He said that his owner meaning Semen told him to cancel the order and not to send anybody to my house cause his guys wouldn't do anything for free, when I told him that under warranty I still have time for them to come and do whatever they supposed to do and they don't do it for free people tip them (eventhough to tip its optional and not a requirement), then he said he change his mind and he doesn't want to deal with me. If he would tell me that earlier that they don't want to deal with it I would find somebody else but he waisted my time for nothing. People like him should not even be in contact with anything that alive. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to that store and spend a penny. There are more other stores with a great services and products, and at least they employ people who know how to put furniture together. I would put photos however having problems with downloading. The work they do is horrible is not worse any amount of money people spend. I also submitted a complaint to the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Not the place for modern furniture and not much of a selection to choose from unless you look through the catalogs they carry in the store.
The selection that they have is vast, and suits all clientele. Whether it be modern up to date furniture or traditional styles, they have it all. I bought a bed frame, and styled my entire living room, and the owner helped me choose what's best. The professionalism was on another level. My entire family was so pleased with the way our living room looked that we came back the next week to style our guest room. The price was unbeatable, cheaper than all of the competitors.
I came to Furniture Expo to simply browse the selection that they offer. However, when I walked into the store, everything changed. The hospitality is world class, I have never experienced nicer, more professional, customer service in all my years of living in NYC.
If I can I would give them a 0 star. Very rude, call call about my order and all they would do is hang up on me. Don't take your money here.. FRAUD
First I would like to start off by saying that the service at this store is amazing and exceptional! Once I walked into the store I immediately fell in love with all the furniture. They have a large variety of different types of furniture which made it very hard for me to choose exactly what I wanted but the salesman at the store took his time and worked with me until I found the furniture that was perfect for my household, none the less I ordered furniture for my bedroom,living room,and basement! Once I found what I wanted in the mater of just a few days I got my delivery which was very fast and the men that delivered my furniture were very professional and courteous and their was no mess left behind! I love my furniture I must also say that the quality of the furniture is very good and would probably last a lifetime! The furniture was so good that a month later I went back and bought a dining room set. Overall I would recommend this store to everyone and by far one of the best furniture stores that I've went to!
To say I recommend Furniture Expo to others would be an understatement. They have the best furniture man can offer, from every corner of the globe, and the service was second to none. I love the store, I love the people in the store, and I can't recommend it enough.
