I came here as an expecting mother for the first time to the obgyn center , I didn't know that I had to call my insurance before hand and tell them that I'm pregnant and needed prenatal care so they told me to call my insurance (although I asked them when I booked my phone over the phone if my normal insurance was okay , they never mentioned that I needed to change my insurance to prenatal ) so after spending about an hour with my insurance, they told me that they couldn't accept it because it wasn't active so they told me to call Medicaid, so after another hour on the phone with Medicaid (which got processed the same day, I received my number and all) they told me that they couldn't see me and that I had to RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT ! They literally wasted my time and gave me attitude BECAUSE I told them that they wasted my time. You should KNOW YOUR JOB it makes no sense how you deliberately waste somebodies for 3 hours knowing the outcome. They give northwell a bad name because northwell in longisland is truly a great place!

We went to get blood drawn from our incredibly difficult 1-year-old. Nicole was patient, kind, and witty, as well as professional and quick. For context, we had previously gone to a hospital, and it took three doctors to get the blood drawn as well as countless needles. Nicole spent a little time playing with our son so he wouldn't freak out, found the vein, and got the blood in one try. THANK YOU!

They still bill as LIJ Urgent Care and totally screws up your insurance to get payment. And, the people in "customer service" don't even know it used to be LIJ now that is Northwell, I asked, she had no idea! Used to be

September 5, 2017. UNORGANIZED, RUDE, WORST Customer service skills I've ever encountered!!! Horrible, Horrible so I'm at work trying to reschedule my appointment and I've been on hold for 21 minutes in total. I get through just to be transferred to some rude imbecile who tells me she's transferring me because she's unable to access the database connected to the sonogram department. Well she transferred me to a whole different doctors office at a different location!!!! Furious and disgusted the ratings are already horrible needless to say I had to call back and wait on hold all over again!!! I spent an hour on the clock with the back and forth and missed my time window to schedule my appointment for my sonogram!!!!!

I think it is run well, but the wait times for blood work are occasionally longer that I hoped.
