Decent kids friendly park.
My daughters favorite. A mix for younger kids and older. Lots of room to run and bring bikes and skateboards.
part of p.s. 18 school, it has basketball and handball courts, 2 playgrounds for the kids, a small exercise station, chess tables and a q43 bus stop in front. It is next to preller field parking lot and the fence separating is ugly and full of weeds with construction material pressed on it from the preller field side. It is a park and should be a respite from city life and should therefore be much better kept. there is also a very large paved area in the back that looks deserted and forgotten. The city could easily plant trees and install benches, improve the fencing and add a proper exercise area for adults
Great neighborhood playground attached to PS 18.
