We got there at 1 and the buffet wasn't set up. It was supposed to start at noon. They started at 1:15 and the food was well worth the wait. The buffet was extensive and everything was delicious. They only had 1 dessert choice but I was way to full from the food is even care. The server at the buffet and the waitress were both delightful and attentive. The buffet had Ribs, chicken-(fried,bbq,baked,smothered). Pork chops -( fried and smothered). Meatloaf, Chicken and dumplings, fried fish-(whiting, catfish), brisket, sweet potatoes, sauteed potatoes, mashed potatoes, Cole slaw, potato salad, macaroni salad, collard greens, spinach, rice and peas, corn on cob, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, black eyed peas, string beans and peach cobbler. I would definitely return to this establishment again soon.
I loive in Brooklyn &travel to Queens for this restaurant. They have the best fried chicken in New York City no Question!!! Great price exceptional food .. a must eat !
Food is good. Will definitely go again. However it is too dark, would like more light when I am eating . Waitress, although nice, dressed very unprofessional. House slippers with mixed matched socks should not be in the workplace anywhere. Brought ambiance of establishment down.
The business is obviously popular as the wait can be a bit long. The staff is courteous and able to mange the highly flow of traffic well. I would recommend for someone looking for authentic soul food.
