I had going through so many people in my life, but I never found such a way of treating me and my friend at public.
I had arrived in to rent a car to drive back home and this lady was so disrespectful to me and my friend. I guess she didn't like the fact that we would like to rent a car and literally immilated us in front of many people. After claiming she doesn't have any car at any cost to be giving us, I made a reservation online which show all bunch of cars available.
I would like to express dissatisfaction with the service your company provides. I booked a car to pick it up at JFK office, paid it, then I found a better offer at Alamo for the same dates. Because I didn't know the terms and conditions of cancellation and couldn't read them in German (I booked a car at Avis Germany website), I sent an inquiry about them. I didn't receive any answer except the automatic one saying that my email was received. So I was asked to prove my intention to cancel neither by email nor by phone and that's why I didn't make any other reservations or booking - I was waiting for the reply.
I would like to start by praying that this message will get to the main owner of this location at JFK airport.
I had to find a car for my trip. I managed to find a car to rent at another company's office but it costed me three times more expensive.
Terrible experience. Arrived with email confirmation. Avis computer showed different dates than was emailed too me. Was hassled because I arrived an hour early even though was told they had plenty of cars. Lady behind desk complained about coworkers and new manager. I had just arrived after a 15 hour flight. Not a positive experience. Would not use Avis again. Desk agent also yelled at the 3 customers in front of us... sad.
I would like to start with one of the Representatives name Gabriella, which working at the front desk at this location in the airport. This lady have the worst costumer service and communication with costumes I ever seen!!!
I cannot believe people like her can work at such a place. I had recorded Gabriella and all falls lies she tried to tell me and all disrespectful way of talking to us and I will make sure to file a claim because this is unreal!
Such a shame Avis that your big name goes down because the people you bringing in to work for your company.

Just rented a car with Avis. Picked up and dropped off very fast. Staffs are nice. The car was pretty New, 2017. Very nice car at cheap price. The lady gave us choices to check the car to see if we like it or wanted to switched. They have plenty luxury sport cars. We Will definitely rent in the future for long distance travel.
This incident speaks for itself. The quality of the service equals zero. I will try to avoid using any kind of services in the future and I definitely would not recommend using any kinds of Avis services.

The location is very convenient to the hotel shuttle drop-off point. They had my car ready to go and the check-out was painless. Out in under 5 minutes.
On the date I arrived in NYC a clerk at Avis JFK office suddenly told me that my booking had been cancelled just the day before my arrival! It was awful news! Because I had been looking for a good price in advance, I didn't received any reply on my request then and coming to NYC on Thanksgiving I learnt that my booking had been cancelled! Without any kind of notifications! It's nonsense! It was just a shocking situation! The clerk then added that that office didn't have any other cars available and thus they couldn't offered me anything else.
