It was actually pretty good. They had my car when I came to pick it up... as opposed to the previous two times when they did not!

I rented from this Hertz Location this past Friday and returned the vehicle on Sunday evening, two hours early per my rental agreement. I was told to leave the keys on the dash by one of the attendants and that I would receive my receipt via e-mail. Fast forward two days and I got the receipt saying that I did not return the car until 11pm on Wednesday evening! It also laid out how my CREDIT CARD HAD BEEN CHARGED ALMOST 500!!! FOR A 125$ rental. Just got off of the phone with HERTZ corporate who told me that it would take up to 7 days for the JFK location to look into the dispute. No "sorry we are trying steal 380$ some dollars from you Mr. _______." Absolutely outrageous! If you can rent from any other company do so. I will never rent from this location or HERTZ again.

Update: As of 11/7/17 Hertz has refunded the appropriate amount to my account. *Disclaimer: the only time customer service seemed to care was after I complained on a public forum like Facebook (keep that in mind if they try to cheat you and you need help). Additionally, the initial refund that was offered to me was nearly 100$ shy of what it should have been meaning that I would have paid over 200$ for a 121$ rental. Hertz's second mistake was fixed only after I called their corporate offices and walked through every item on the receipt with a representative who then found that Hertz still owed me nearly 100$. The reparation for their mistake was 625pts in my account which amounts to one weekday rental of a standard vehicle, not nearly enough IMO. Long story short, Hertz has now given me my money back but only after having to catch them 2X overcharging me and then they gave me a sub-par rental voucher for one weekday. 10/10 would not recommend.

I rented a car from JFK on 11/16/2017. Just from the geico, the customer service rep at the counter was rude to my family and I.it was horrible. But we proceed to go ahead with the reservation since we have already paid for it. The original rental was for a midsize car but when we saw the car it was too small so we decided to upgrade to a full size, which of course they charged us $40/day. We didn't complain because what else can we say. Forward to returning the car on 11/20/2017 and ending up paying a total of $379.80 including all the extra fees God knows for what. Not including the original $134.67 that was the original rental to start with. Next thing I know, my credit card is being charged another $55 for tolls fee which is a whole separate story. Mind you on the hertz receipt that they gave me they had already charged me $70 for tolls fee which I wasn't aware of until I asked for a breakdown and explanation of the receipt. All this after talking to multiple people over the phone multiple times. They agree to give me a credit for $30 which is not even close to what they over charged me for. I will never recommend Hertz even to my Worse enemy. One thing for sure I will never rent from them, Never and ever! I have been renting cars for years now and never run into such a greedy company with evil customer service.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !! Don't go here "Daisy" had a nasty attitude , didn't seem like she had much customer service. There was a lot of people just waiting outside for a very long time for a car. You had to wait awhile in line then, when you finally get to the counter you have a nasty representative ...then you have to wait forever for a car! Do better please because this was horrible. Don't come here unless it's your last resort and if it is be prepared to go through hell.

I had 6 adults with 6 pieces of luggage so I made a reservation for two full size cars weeks in advance. With my company program my wife is allowed to drive one of the cars without a problem. After arriving I was surprised to not see my name on the board because the worker at hertz thought my double reservation was in error so she didn't process it at all. Needless to say she didn't call me to confirm nor hold at least one car. Of course this happened on a day when they had a shortage of cars. After an hour of waiting some cars came in and eventually she was able to get me my two full sizes. No upgrades, no free fuel, nothing at all.
