The agent behind the counter spent 10 minutes screaming at the customer in front of me, then proceeded to pepper the rest of their interaction with sarcastic remarks. After that wonderful experience we all had the "privelege" of waiting outside for an hour for cars to return, as they clearly overbook with little regard for their actual capacity. This place is an absolute train wreck.
Lady at the counter was friendly too, and that's when she recommended we get the daily toll add on at $10/day and not worry about tolls. Sounded good and proceeded to sign for the car without realising the charge was $21/day and inadvertently being charged for tolls way more than what we would have needed to pay.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER PLACES TO RENT FROM.
I have never in my life been treated by someone like i was today! I was trying to ask him a simple question as to where the entrance was and where i should leave my car since i was dropping off my sister who had booked a rental for 3 weeks at 2300 dollars and he started yelling at me saying he had no time for me and to get out of his face. Then i told him this is not how you should be talking or treating a customer and then he said he was not going to let us pick up our car rental an aggressively told us to leave the store. He made my youngest niece cry! They charged my sisters card and would not give us the car they are crooks and i am reporting them to the BBB.
Rented from this location in May. They took an hour to get our car and so upgraded us to an SUV which did nothing but guzzle gas. They also offered us an extra day to make up for waiting for so long. Upon returning the car they charged me for the extra day that they told me was on them and was "noted" in their system. It is almost July and no one has resolved returning the extra money charged to my bill. Worst car rental and customer service experience I have ever received. I do not recommend this location.
Evidently a HUGE mistake to have not read the reviews prior to booking. Everything seemed to go well at the counter getting our car in under 30 mins as opposed to the long wait times everyone is complaining about. Car was decent, you get to pick from a range available.
they dnt even deserve a star, their employees and managers r sucks then ever, they dnt know how to talk to a person. they dnt have a minimum sense of humor
After all this happened i left and went to enterprise rent a car and got amazing customer service plus a way better car and price!! i told them the story of what happened to us and they were flabbergasted ! This happened on shift sunday at 4pm july 16 2017.
All customer service would say is you signed a legally binding document, thank you very much. Sad to say that this would definitely be my first and last time ever using Thrifty anywhere.
If i could give zero stars i would!!! i went to go pick up a car with my sister and her 3 children i got to the entrance of the place and they would not let me in they told me i could not come into there parking and they suggested that i leave my car at a no standing bus stop! These are the rudest most uneducated people that you will ever meet! The manager (who would not give me his name) actually harassed and threatened me i had to call the police on him.
